Side Story Printers is a new endeavour by Philippa Hornsby, a recent addition to the board of Directors of Intra Arts Ltd. The aim is for Side Story Printers to bring a local and accessible Community Risograph printing Bureau to the Old High St. Intra, made possible by a business grant from the U.K Shared Prosperity Fund.
This project will be giving local musicians, artists and businesses the opportunity to make use of a unique style of promotional print; from gig posters and cd covers to zines and small publications. The initial funding will give the opportunity to run open days for newcomers to learn about risograph printing, and work on custom designs suited to their needs ~ these then being printed by Philippa as part of the Bureau format.
